Curved Edge Brush Polishing:
Curved Edge Brush Polishing system is unique among the others. It usually has been used in smartphone 2.5D and 3D screen and back plate's polishing. Even though the choices of abrasive and slurry are the same with flat polishing, it is identifiable by the patterns of plates that it has plenty of hair-like abrasive planted on.

What is 2.5D and 3D?        
In the idea, the letter "D" means "Dimension", obviously they mean how many dimensions the object has. Simply to differentiate them, for example, a 2.5D screen is one-side curved whereas 3D has both outer and inner curved parallel. Meantime, the outer faces of a 3D screen are tactile areas where the 2.5 not. See the figures below for better understanding.

This series so far has three editions sort into single and ten- chuck tables and augmented. The series is professional in surface treatment rather than precise "grinding". Thus for basis of precision, the process object should conform with the tolerance previously if required.         At design of the single-table and augmented editions, the upper spindle and brush as a unit attached on linear guide are lifting by air cylinder. The brush and table are rotationally driven by motors. The difference of them is that the augmented has 16 chuck tables with 12 brushes while another are singluar. Moreover, the augmented is able to rotationally transmit polishing objects to the front of load/unloading window.         The ten-chuck systems additionally has an extra base plate than the single and each installed with five chuck tables as the same as brushes. The upper section of it is able to transmit back and forth above base plates peer-to-peer thus to create convenience for manipulator to reload polishing objects as when another base plate is working

Scope of application:
Widely used in 3D ceramic surface, LED sapphire substrate, optical glass wafer, wafer, mold, stainless steel, zinc alloy and other materials 3D surface, 2.5D surface polishing.

Operational Sequence
1.Setup processing parameter:spindles' rotation speed, feeding distance and polishing time.
2.Before processing, the brush plate starts rotating at adjusted speed.
3.Then the upper spindle moves downward and begins processing.
4.The slurry supply system constantly refills polishing slurry cross thru the plate by the objects.
5.After times up, the spindle move backward.
